June celebrates gender & equality; wellness and medicine advances; history, culture & fathers. Music is the thread that binds these celebrations. On June 17th, we invite Brooklyn & NYC to dance, head and dive into the tunes.
Community leaders, St. James Joy will be our vibe conductor while (activist & artist) Tai Allen will bring the live music. From house to hip-hop to soul to rock!
The dancing will be non-stop!
AND, we are set to honor three of our community greats and fathers: Stanley Banks (bassist George Benson + bandleader), Eric Frazier (bandleader, educator + poet) & Jo Vill (community leader + co-founder of St. James’ Joy.
